Wedding Card

If you saw my video on etching the glasses you heard me say I would post the card the next day. Well I ran out of time before having to leave to come to South Dakota. So once here I took the pictures so I could share with you. She is having a rustic wedding so I went with plain brown paper and kraft cardstock to match the theme but dressed it up with lace and shabby flowers. I was happy with the result though my daughter Jen doesn't like the lace hanging off the edge of the card. She may be right but it's done so it is what it is. What's your thoughts?

Love ya,
~Deb~

  1. Hi Deb, for a rustic wedding, I could only say that you have got it right. I do understand what Jen means, but, when you go rustic there are a lot of things that people don't like and it isn't always everyone's taste. I think that you have done a great job with this card and I am sure that it would have been gratefully and lovingly received and it will be put along with the rest of the keepsakes. Well done for creating this card, it is very well done. Hugs, Jen xx

  2. Nicely done this way and beautiful in a rustic fashion. And, I think without the lace it would have been beautiful as well. I like the idea of the kraft a lot to give that rustic feel. And I think all of your projects for the wedding were top notch. I hope you liked visiting my home state of South Dakota too.
