We also received good news. You might remember me telling you that my husband was laid off in January. Yesterday he received a job offer. It's a bit of a pay cut but it is a job and with what we think is a stable company. We are both breathing a sigh of relief. For him, of course his self esteem is bolstered. It's always harder on men to be unemployed then women. it speaks to there manhood for some reason. For me, it means I get to stay and
Anyway, just wanted to check in cause I missed you guys and let you know what's been happening in my neck of the woods. Please, please, please pray hard and pray strong, and then go craft!
Love ya,
~Deb~

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts, prayers, and wished. I have the best followers on earth! HUGE HUGS to all of you.
ReplyDeleteDeb I am behind reading my messages and I have just read this today. I have said a prayer for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteI am glad your husband has found a job. I know what it is like for the husband to lose their job. My husband was out of work for 3 years 24 years ago and then only part time work for another few years. He has been working at the same place for 20 years now but only a low salary which meant I had to keep working.
I was made redundant at the end of January effective immediately and am too old now to get another job as I will be 68 next week. But it was all in God's plan as I have not been well. I have severe arthritis and fibromyalgia. So we are relying on God now and I am enjoying being at home and not having to go out to work after working for 52 years.
I follow you blog by email so I don't often come over to leave a message but I read all the emails from your blog.
I wish you all the best.
