Don't forget to leave everyone some love along the way. They worked hard on their beautiful creations!
For my creation I was given this fabulous image to work with. It's your freebie from the ever generous Paulette. So right click and save it to your computer and let us see what you make with it!
Here's my idea for using this gorgeous, sassy looking, lady!
This word art also came from TLC although it is not the one for the extra card I spoke of above. We'll get to that one in a moment. First let me tell you about this card. I used some brown and blue Recollections card stock. I layered the browns with a Color Bok paper on the bottom piece and a handmade paper with dried roses embedded in the second. Then I added some die cuts that I made with a Marianne Corner die that I cut out. I then put two strips of vintage looking lace, you can't see more that a peek of the bottom one. On top of that I placed the image. I colored it with my Prismacolor Water color pencils, distressed the edges and then inked the entire thing up with TH Old Paper Distress Ink. Last but not least I placed two flowers that I picked up at Target in the dollar bins with some of my feathers behind. I love the wispy look these gave it.
For the inside I kept it simple with no sentiment so it could be used for anything since the front sentiment wasn't very specific. Definitely my smart aleck attitude, but not specific for an occasion! :) I did layer three papers though so it would look like the front some.
Now for the second card, I used the TLC word art sent to me for a birthday card. Still fashion oriented I created this card...
The image is from Far Far Hill. I used a black pre-made card by Recollections, layered a piece of DP also from Recollections and then used that fabulous gold foiled CS from DCWV Royal Garden matstack. I made the lace frame using more of the vintage looking lace I had in my stash and then layered on the image, the sentiment and a really cool fabric flower I got from Pick your Plum. The inside of the card was white so I layered on the red paper all the way across, and then added an inked up paper to write on.
So that's my projects! I hope your having fun on the hop. Your next stop is the Create with TLC home page. Thanks for coming by and visiting. I love to read comments and I always visit after so please leave me your thoughts.
Love ya,
~Deb~
