Snow Fairys

Hi all,

Well after two days of mad crafting and only about 4 hours of sleep each day, I think I'm as ready as I'm going to get for the shows this weekend.Whew! I made 13 cards in one 20 hour day. I think that's a record for me. I'm setting the blog to automatically send out the emails while I'm gone but I will check in so feel free to leave comments and ask questions as always and I'll get back to you!

So for the first card I made I wanted to show you the adorable fairies I bought from Mos' digital Pencil. They are called Winter Fairy Halla and Winter Fairy Talva. I just thought they were so sweet, I couldn't resist.

I used a round scalloped card to make this easel card. I printed and colored up the two fairies and added some glossy accents, glitter and silver gel pen highlights. I layered that on a cut out from the Iron Works cartridge from the cricut.  I don't use my cricut as much as I should. Then I cut some snowflakes in half that I bought at the Dollar Tree and attached them to the back of the image and added a banner I created on the computer. I added more glossy accents to the banner. I wanted this card to SHINE!

For the inside, I used a sentiment from Desert Diva. Hannelie always has some wonderful freebies. I also cut another snowflake in half to use as the easel stopper. I put a gem in the middle to add a little something.

And here it is standing open for display.

Wish me luck! I'm off tomorrow for the show.

Love ya,
~Deb~
